Our mêthode traditionelle Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Chardonnay harvested from a single acre on our Corey Creek Vineyard. This wine showcases the elegance and balance representative of the North Fork. The 2016 vintage was exceptional. Howard Goldberg of The New York Times said “Bedell is on a winning streak. Its lean, brisk blanc de blancs is especially fetching. The wine offers an aroma of apple, a hint of grapefruit and a long, slightly saline finish.”
Our Sauvignon Blanc is made by gently pressing whole clusters of sustainably farmed, estate grown fruit from our sites at Bedell and Corey Creek. It is then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in steel to maximize its youthfulness and aromatic character. The 2018 vintage was unique and exceptional. Mark Squires of the Wine Advocate said “Many on the East Coast make fruity Sauvignon with grass and green notes. What they sometimes lack, however, is some zing and zest - I love the way Bedell's Sauvignons accomplish that.”
A balanced and refreshing Chardonnay with expressive fruit and complex savory minerality. Made from hand-harvested grapes farmed sustainably on our estate from multiple clones on different field sites. James Molesworth of the Wine Spectator said "[Bedell] Chardonnay is [a] successful bottling, relying on a fresh, breezy persona to deliver unadorned pear and green apple notes with a verbena hint."
Gallery is a blend of our finest whites made only in extraordinary vintages. Its hallmarks are ripe tropical fruit and a full body. The 2017 vintage provided exceptional growing conditions. Thomas Matthews of the Wine Spectator said “This fleshy white delivers a good balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity. Mango, melon and vanilla flavors show a tropical character, staying lively through the finish.”
